(Reg: AAA +19204843) -

SAV Erica 8622 is the product of the proven foundational mating of SAV Resource 1441 and SAV Erica 4070 (Harvestor x SAV Erica 4419). She is a classy brood cow deluxe, combining extreme capacity, volume, and natural fleshing ability. Erica 8622 embodies all the qualities expected of an elite Angus female: impeccable udder quality, abundant thickness, ideal size, perfect feet, impressive muscle, and feminine design. She is a model cow for breeders nationwide and reflects our guiding motto: “Where Proven Cows Still Matter.”

Foundation & Influence
Erica 8622 served as a cornerstone female for Black Line Angus of Nebraska. Over the years, she became a tour favorite, admired by cattlemen from across the United States and Canada. Her popularity stemmed not only from her legendary phenotype but also from the consistent quality of her progeny. Notable offspring include Blackline Erica 1500, a model SAV Regard daughter, which will continue the Erica legacy at Black Line Angus, along with multiple herd sires now working in seedstock operations across Nebraska and Canada.

Flush Brothers & Sisters
Four flush brothers to Erica 8622 headlined the 2019 Schaff Angus Valley Sale. Kelly Schaff described them as “Powerhouse full brothers recommended to ranchers who sell their cattle by the pound. They are extra thick, stout, heavy‑muscled beef bulls bred to be that way. They bring the unmatched power and performance of Resource and Harvestor together in an explosive genetic package.”
  • SAV Rectify 8722 and SAV Resource 8619 sold to FMRanch Series LLC, Archer City, Texas.
  • SAV Reckoning 8725 sold to Kyle Wyly, Fort Pierre, South Dakota.
  • SAV Resource 8733 sold to Lauris Tysdal, Newcastle, Wyoming.
Flush sisters include SAV Erica 8620, SAV Erica 8623, and SAV Erica 8735, all described by SAV as model Angus cows with ideal body type and impeccable udder quality.
Maternal Strength
  • Dam: SAV Erica 4070 — Massive, deep‑bodied, and perfectly uddered, she was a fifth‑generation SAV embryo donor. Four daughters were retained, and a son sold to Wolff Ranch as an $11,500 feature of the 2017 SAV Sale. Erica 4070 was regarded as one of the finest Erica cows ever produced.
  • Granddam: SAV Erica 4419 — A prolific Traveler 004 daughter who served SAV for more than 13 years. She combined exquisite phenotype with production excellence, recording a birth ratio of 97 and a weaning ratio of 103 on 12 natural calves. Twenty progeny averaged $8,925 in past SAV sales, including the top‑selling bred heifer in the 2011 SAV Sale. Erica 4419 was also featured in the Genex Beef Sire Directory as the picture cow representing daughters of her Pathfinder sire, SAV 8180 Traveler 004.
Opportunity
Opportunities to own a cow of this caliber are rare. Erica 8622 has already proven her impact, and her influence will continue to grow through her sons and daughters across the country. She is poised to leave a lasting mark on our herd and others nationwide. Her story is just beginning, with many chapters yet to be written.

- If you placed a bid by mistake, or need to retract a bid, please contact us to get that switched - info@sirebuyer.com - (800) 664-6175

- Be sure to note, bid price is per unit (when selling semen & embryos)!  If an auction item has (8 units).  You are bidding for the price of 1 unit (multiplied by 8).   If you win the bid at $5.00 - it would be $5.00 x 8 (units) = $40.00.  If your current bidding price is $30.00 - it would be $30.00 x 8 (units) = $240.00

- Sellers/Consignors can correlate their own auction length or end date.  Auctions are consigned at random intervals

- When you bid on a lot, you may choose to place a max bid (maximum bid) representing the highest amount that you're willing to pay at the moment. Our automatic bidding technology will then place bids on your behalf. It will always place the lowest bid necessary and never go higher than your max bid.

-  A reserve price is a hidden lowest price under which a seller does not allow the item to be sold. This price is always lower than the estimate. We accept bids below the reserve, but those bids cannot win the auction.  If you are the highest bidder but there is a notice that the reserve has not been met, and the bid amount is colored red, then you will not win the auction when it ends.

If your bid is colored green and there is no such notice, you will win the auction if you have the highest bid when it ends. If you place a maximum bid at or above the reserve price, your leading bid will be the same amount as the reserve price. If you're the first bidder on an auction with a reserve price of $100 and your maximum bid is $200, then your leading bid will be $100. If the auction has no reserve price, then your leading bid will be $30 - which is the lowest possible bid.

The reserve price is hidden until it is met. So before the bidding reaches the reserve price amount or higher, you won't know that amount.
