SAV Blackcap May 4574 x Sitz Robust 717H

SAV Blackcap May 4574 was the front cover feature of the 2022 SAV Catalog.  Co-owned with Crossroads Cattle Co.  She is a headliner donor, and productive brood matron, representing one of the best to roam SAV pastures.  A  proven herdsire, producer, generating $238,000 on 18 progeny, averaging $13,222 in past SAV sales, including SAV Expansion 9088 the $50,000 featured Lot 1 in the 2020 SAV sale, as well as the $45,000 SAV Crush 0935, the $29,000 SAV Lifeblood 1163 her high-weaning son in the 2022 SAV sale, the $19,000 SAV Expansion 7170, SAV Big Rig 0934, and more.

She is a maternal sister to $180,000 SAV Regard 4863, $67,500 SAV Robust 4858, and the $55,000 SAV Rematch 4860.

Her legendary pathfinder donor dam, SAV Blackcap May 5530, reigns among the three top income-producing cows, in SAV history, with $2 million in receipts on 113 progeny averaging $18,029 including Priority, Brand Name, Robust, and Cutting Edge.

Sitz Robust 717H was the $50,000 Sitz Stellar 726D son who sold on the Spring 2021 Sitz Angus sale.  Embryos are mated to this young up and coming Stellar son.  We talked to one of the owners of Robust,  RJ Petersek with Raven Angus, “ he will add performance, pounds on the scale, moderate frame, and make cattle that will last for a lifetime.”  They weaned off 120 Robust calves, he said, “We like the depth, muscle, they have good length, and flank, Robust plugs all the holes phenotypically.”   Owned with Raven Angus, Sitz Ellunas Elite 139Z, is powerful, deep ribbed, broody, with perfect foot and leg structure.

We also heard back from bull owner, Stetson Ellingson, of  Ellingson Angus, on the Sitz Robust 717H, “The bull himself carries a stockmans kind with tremendous base width and stoutness.  He has as much crest and masculinity as you’ll find in any Angus sire but pairs it with the softness and structural correctness to be an elite daughter maker.  The first calves are balanced in their type, structural correct with ample performance.  I especially like the females with their wedged-type, which comes as no surprise as we found the bulls mother first, then him second. “

Fun Fact:  We loved raising the 4574 ET calves for SAV, the $45,000 Scale Crusher son of the 2021 SAV Sale, SAV Crush 0935,  was one of our favorites, our son Sam’s recipient cow raised him.

The full sister to SAV Crush, Lot 666 sold for $20,000.  Her SAV Raindance daughter Lot 565 in 2019 brought $18,000.

- If you placed a bid by mistake, or need to retract a bid, please contact us to get that switched - info@sirebuyer.com - (800) 664-6175

- Be sure to note, bid price is per unit (when selling semen & embryos)!  If an auction item has (8 units).  You are bidding for the price of 1 unit (multiplied by 8).   If you win the bid at $5.00 - it would be $5.00 x 8 (units) = $40.00.  If your current bidding price is $30.00 - it would be $30.00 x 8 (units) = $240.00

- Sellers/Consignors can correlate their own auction length or end date.  Auctions are consigned at random intervals

- When you bid on a lot, you may choose to place a max bid (maximum bid) representing the highest amount that you're willing to pay at the moment. Our automatic bidding technology will then place bids on your behalf. It will always place the lowest bid necessary and never go higher than your max bid.

-  A reserve price is a hidden lowest price under which a seller does not allow the item to be sold. This price is always lower than the estimate. We accept bids below the reserve, but those bids cannot win the auction.  If you are the highest bidder but there is a notice that the reserve has not been met, and the bid amount is colored red, then you will not win the auction when it ends.

If your bid is colored green and there is no such notice, you will win the auction if you have the highest bid when it ends. If you place a maximum bid at or above the reserve price, your leading bid will be the same amount as the reserve price. If you're the first bidder on an auction with a reserve price of $100 and your maximum bid is $200, then your leading bid will be $100. If the auction has no reserve price, then your leading bid will be $30 - which is the lowest possible bid.

The reserve price is hidden until it is met. So before the bidding reaches the reserve price amount or higher, you won't know that amount.
